Bosch To Launch First Online Enterprise Forum in Power Tools Industry In China

Hangzhou, October 20, 2011 – Bosch Power Tools has launched the industry's first corporate online forum – Bosch Power Tools forum – to build an authorized and practical communications platform for industry professionals and DIY users. Held in conjunction with the web forum’s launch, Bosch Power Tools will run a “PT Masters” campaign to engage power tool fans with online quiz and exciting prizes.

The newly launched Bosch Power Tools forum as well as the ‘PT Masters’ Campaign will not only provide an open and efficient space for sharing expertise and expanding knowledge, but also offer interesting prize games to power tool fans.”

Bosch Power Tools forum is an open and interactive online community with user friendly interface, providing the latest news on new products, trends and technologies as well as solutions to questions about the power tools industry. Hot discussion topics including tools applications, tools maintenance, and product and accessories selection could provide users with practical and efficient information. In addition, “PT Masters” Campaign has also generated interesting discussion among participating fans. Since its launch at the end of August, Bosch Power Tools forum has attracted over 23,000 user registrations and power tools expertise and DIY users from China have contributed almost 20,000 posts commenting and replying on diversified topics.

Following the success of last year’s “888 Bosch Power Tools Free-trial” campaign, Bosch has launched a new project this year - the Bosch Power Tools Masters Campaign. Launched on September 6, 2011, the initial eight-week campaign has been extended to eleven weeks till November 21, 2011, due to active participations from industry professionals and DIY users. Top 100 winners from each week will be selected with weekly prizes based on their performances in the online quiz, contributions in the power tools forum and the number of friend referral. The 1000 winners from these 10 weeks will then be eligible to enter the final competition in the eleventh week.
